I'm in between classes right now so I thought I would update real quick. I normally wouldn't have time because my schedule on Mondays and Wednesday puts me at only 15 minutes between classes so I don't know how well this whole updating thing is going to go. I guess I have a lot to say since I haven't updated since before Christmas.

As far as school goes, I'm facing a heavier load this semester than last. I only managed a 3.25 last semester which I'm satisfied with, but I know I can do better and my procrastination got the best of me. I'd like to end with a 4.0 this semester. I'm taking Comp 2, Honors political history in America and Georgia, Pre-calculus, and Biology 1 with a 3 hour lab. Woohoo? I've been to my comp 2 and honors classes already today and they seem like they are going to be fun. Both the teachers are nice enough.

I went up to visit my Mom the week before Christmas and overall it went well. She's in a heap of trouble though. Dave's been arrested twice in the past 6 months for driving under the influence of drugs. So basically she's stuck with him because she bailed him out both times. Now they have to wait for his court dates. She says she's going to kick him out afterwards, but I don't really know what to believe. While I was there we had a lot of talk about what was going to happen with her and about how to dig her out of this hole she's managed to get herself in. I think the first steps are becoming the independent woman she was a few years ago. She's lost that part of herself and she's the only one that can work towards it again. Overall we're worried. The whole family. It was an emotional week.

After I left her house I went to my aunts. I love being there. It makes me feel so at home. It was my cousin Conner's birthday and we had hibachi and just chilled out. It was nice to be there. I hope I'll get to see them soon.

Jason and I are still doing well. There was a bump in the road when I seriously messed up, but he forgave me and we're still going strong even with the distance. I plan on taking off spring break and heading up there for at least a few days to see him. I told mom about him. Told her he'd be the person I'd bring home to my grandparents. She was surprised. I'm gonna marry that man one day. I think. Haha.

That's basically what's going on in a nutshell though. Work, school, life. I'm enjoying it right now. Staying busy. I'm still reading lots of people and commenting here and there. The usual. Gotta head to class now though.
