Database Issues

Well, this should be the last time for awhile finally :)

Finally found the root problem, the raid card is going bad. So looks like a new one will need to be ordered, or scrap the server and replace it.

Currently the Database has been removed from that server and placed on another one for the time being.

by patrickdk, 04-24-08 12:39 AM but when they work, they are so wonderful :) the machine has given us almost 2 years of trouble free issues, and would of been 3 years, except for human error. It's retirement time for it.

by Anonymous, 05-05-08 04:19 AM I am not sure if it is just me but the "my notes" section coming from any pages takes around 20-30 seconds to load for me. All other pages load fine.

by patrickdk, 05-06-08 11:15 PM Probably has to do with how many comments you have. But the temp database right now is running on much less memory than it was before. I think things will speed back up after it gets a new home that has some memory for it to use.
